I love the first game.

I don't vehemently hate the second like the maniacs do, but I didn't enjoy the storyline at all. I guess as a result of that, I was dragging myself to get through it, which felt way, way too long. The cycle of gameplay really wore thin for me by the end.

I get what they were trying to do, but it just didn't work for me. YYMV

The fanbase is clearly very divided. I liked TLOU and I thought TLOU2 was just as good if not better. I bought it for $60 and I'd do it again.

Single best game I've ever played. Even better than the original imo. It's not an easy game to play. It takes time and an emotional toll. I've never had a similar gaming experience. It's not meant to be like any other game. I can't recommend it enough, but I can't promise you'll love it. I do promise that if you give it enough time, it'll be a unique eperience.

The game is enjoyable until you're forced to play as the character Abby. Graphics look great of course and the 60fps update made me go back and play it again but I stopped at the Abby part of the game.

I am glad that I didn't listen to the haters. I played it and enjoyed it. While I still think part 1 is better, I enjoyed this game and think it is worth playing especially if you already played part 1.

Why are so many people trolling and purposely giving up spoilers in this thread to ruin it for others? Horrible.

Excellent review of the game with SPOILERS. I really enjoyed every bit of part 1 but the direction they took with the story in part 2 is totally WTF.

I can see some pearl clutchers having a problem with it, but I wouldn't have expected these pearl clutchers to be gamers in the first place.

The whole controversy seems like weaksauce to me.
