This is the same Laptop from BestBuy, currently in FP. However, this model costs $30 more but comes with 1TB SSD, twice the size of the BestBuy model. I think 1TB storage f0r $30 is a good upgrade as it only has one M.2 slot and the only way to extend the size is to replace the existing SSD.

Is this comparable to the 13.3" Lenovo that Costco had on sale for a bit less a few months ago, albeit non-flip, non-touch and 512GB SSD, and for around $100 less?

Is there a version of this that's non-flip and non-touch, but with a 1TB SSD, for around $600? That would be my ideal laptop for my needs.

Btw the specs say non-backlit keyboard. Which is it? From experience backlit is really helpful, almost essential.

Amazon has a very similar version for over $900 but with the 4700:

https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Yog...B0962VTHRJ

It says backlit keyboard. Apparently some folks are having touchscreen issues after a few months.

Glossy screen !!!
Nowadays, it's virtually impossible to find glossy and semi-glossy screen.
Even cheap one have a better picture quality than matte.

Won't take PayPal on this for some reason. The six month interest-free payoff period is almost a must for me.

Will have to think about it...

Can anyone comment on how this handles mild gaming. Obviously not looking to max out settings or play the latest and greatest AAA title.

Games like GTA 5, PUBG, Dota 2 will run at 1080p at low to medium setting. Don't expect demanding AAA Titles to run at native 1080p resolution, even lower settings.

GTA V at Low to Med is respectable. Shit... I might just pull the trigger. Thank you.

Agreed. Every gamer nerd wants anti-glare matte screens, but gloss looks so much nicer. Glare really isn't a big issue if you just put your screen in the right place.

Im playing Red Dead Redemption 2, Resident Evil series, and Hitman 2 atm on my 5700u Lenovo Flex.

Yoga 6 has a better screen.
Im using a gamepad and connect to my 4K TV with home theater. Run on a fan stand.

Are you trolling? All touchscreens are glossy, and with SO many laptops now coming as touchscreen, the vast majority of what you'll find is glossy, especially the "deals". Some cheap non-touchscreen notebooks have low-nits (low brightness) matte screens, but more that I've seen have non-touch glossy (worst of all worlds). High-end business non-touch are really the only place you'll consistently find matte (Lenovo X & T series, for example).

And a high-end high-NITS matte screen looks great, and doesn't have the glare and reflection issues of glossy.
