I thought the downvotes might be suggesting that this drive has integrated USB. However, it seems as if this should be a shuckable 6TB drive at $17.50/TB. Not the slickest deal ($15/TB seems to be a common threshold these days) but certainly not bad given the current market. Any other warnings from some of the more experienced HD buyers? I'm looking for an option to populate a two drive backup NAS for my primary NAS... and I've been putting it off for some time given the state of the hard drive market (thanks, Chia).

Good luck!
Jon

Is this an SMR drive? Someone on Amazon wrote that it is, so I might pass based on that alone. Thanks for the post though. This otherwise looks like a good deal.

I found several at my local Walmart for the same price. Decent deal for backup drives considering current prices. Thanks!

I've said the same about WD. Had 2 or 3 MyBooks completely crash on me in the past. Swore them off in 2009 and never went back

Slows down dramatically when the cache fills up during writing. Reading is fine.
