2. IMPORTANT! Write down your RMA number in the "Notes" field.
3. Once our RMA Department receives the deposit, we will send the replacement unit to you.
4. To be refunded of the deposit, send your original PSU to the Seasonic Service Center when you receive the replacement unit. We will refund you once our Service Center receives your shipment.
Also don't know how you can assert Corsair's warranty is much better. Seasonic offers a 12 year warranty on their Prime PSUs while the maximum warranty I see Corsair offer for their comparable PSUs (e.g. AX, TX, RM) is 10 years.

Unless you're that guy who has spare psus in your closet
Seasonic PRIME based units experience shutdowns with RTX3080/3090 (and possibly RX6900 XT) GPUs, especially ones with unlocked power limit like FE and ASUS Strix. It is recommended, if going with such units, to overprovision wattage, 1kW for RTX3080 and 1.2kW for RTX3090, or power-limit the GPU, or performing a 'dirty' fix of disconnecting a pin of 12V V-sense wire from PSU-side connector of 24-pin motherboard cable (courtesy of Jonny Guru). Units based on post-2018 revisions of Seasonic Focus platform and majority of units by other OEMs are not affected.

I have the 850GM version (paid $65 for it brand new from a Local person) in my $1400 build (completed in Jan-2021). Luckily, this video automatically played via the Youtube Auto-play feature ! My 850GM has had no problems to-date, but it's not worth the risk of having my ~$1400 rig get damaged because of a $65 PSU. I'm tempted to get this Seasonic to replace my Gigabyte PSU.
