I have this and it's fantastic. So quiet, sips fuel, and powers things with relative ease. It can run my refrigerator and all my telecom equipment, though my most common use case is to take it around my property to power things like a 120w soldering iron or 3x ryobi battery chargers when I'm doing something really battery intensive like cutting wood.

This would be perfect for an RV to charge the batteries when off grid without firing up the screaming loud built-in generator.

Although I think it can occasionally be had around the $150 price point.

Depends on your sump. Many will run. If your situation is contingent on a pump running you should be running a battery backup sump in conjunction with your regular pump. This unit should work with both.
Maybe a 1/3 hp or 1/6 hp pump, but definitely not a 1hp pump. The startup surge on my 1hp is about 1500w.

Thin Air, the combustion in the genrator/motor woudn't be optimal

What happens if you buy two of these? Can you get 2000 W out of them?
Getting the 1800/2200W model is about double the cost of this one anyway. And you can then further parallel with another inverter generator when you need more power. This small inverter generator without parallel capability has very limited function.

Good info. I'd pay even more for such capabilities. The convenience of having one 2000w unit instead of two is worth it alone.

Figured someone can use this 10% off one time use code. Brings the inverter down to $153 before tax. (Wished I got this before but I already bought this a few weeks back) I can use some Rep in exchange. Please reply on comment once used. Thanks.

Depends. You can put a bigger start cap on some.

These have been cheaper in the past for sure, they are great if you're remote camping and need to charge your phone or laptop or even provide some lighting.

If you're in a power out situation at home this will most likely run a single refridgerator or a freezer but not both and you can't use a long extension cord. It will run a box fan, coffee maker, and a standard 60w lamp with a 10' extension and a 3 oultet adapter at the same time without issue.

This thing is a TANK. I abused mine with dirty oil, sit year long gas and dust water cover the unit. Not the mention I have cracked the side wall and beat them to death. The generator still lives. Jesus.

Its not that weak. I use mine power a retro saw. Abuse it for years and no oil change. Old gas. It survive
