Smh so if I had waited a year and got the Z Fold 3 instead of 2....
- my Note 10+ would of been worth $125 more (625 v only 500 last year)
-and the Z3 is $200 cheaper
So I would of paid $300 less.

Trade in value for the Z2 fold is beyond ridiculous at only $800/900... the original Z Fold still gets $600/700 and it got $1000 last year

I was in Best Buy yesterday and I looked at 2 offers. 1st AT&T 400 best buy discount 1000 AT&T trade in and 200 Samsung credit. Effectively bringing it down to 400 plus 200 Samsung to spend on Accs this made it $11 month not including taxes. 2nd deal was Fold 3 unlocked 400 best buy 360 for note 10+ trade in so 1050 plus the Samsung 200$ credit. This is actually 38 dollars cheaper then Samsung even with Ed discount.

I noticed buying directly from carriers can be cheaper. Since Samsung is going all in with foldables, I am sure there will be better deals

Every time I try to check out on Verizon website, it gives me an error saying that I cannot trade in my phone (iPhone X) for preorders. So they allow me to select the offer for getting $500 for a trade in , and I punch in the info and it gives me the $500 discount (deducted from monthly payment) but then at checkout it says trade in is not allowed for preorders. Does this make any sense at all? Why offer a deal , accept it, and then say the deal is invalid and block checkout?

$400 is really optimistic for a used Note 8. It looks like the most recent sales on Ebay for the 64GB version of the note 8 are running ~$150. Still a better deal than the trade in though.

Any opinion on strict they are with "cracks" for tradeins? I have the zfold 2 and could trade it in for $750 overall with samsung. I have these micro scratches down the middle but its not noticeable when the screen is on. Would they ding me for that
