Be sure to format and do a clean windows install because the bloatware nearly bricked my 8940

Click 'Start > Settings > Update & security > Recovery' and then choose 'Get started' under 'Reset this PC'. A full reinstall wipes your entire drive, so select 'Remove everything' to ensure a clean reinstall is performed.

Finally got in on this deal. I have a RX480 8gb card in my current machine, should I sell that or should I sell the 1660? I am going to go do my own research but I'd like to hear others opinions as well.

The 1660 is about 13% faster than the RX 580 8GB, the RX 480 performs really similar to the RX 480. In my opinion, sell the RX 480.

Typing this from my 8940 as we speak! Was a great deal stacked with cash back and Amex statement credit. Sold the 1660 and use integrated graphics, nearly free desktop!

AMA, will try to answer them.

Bought the 2060 version back in March. I am a casual gamer, most of it is Warzone, Stadia and some battlefield. Playing on an ultrawide 3440 x 1440 screen, games are >60fps. Bought this mostly for work (photo editing) and it works great for that.

I've been out of the game for awhile, is there a good walkthough for the clean install? I don't want to deal with all dell's crap.

tempting... main thing holding me back is the 360W PSU and inability to just swap in a standard PSU to replace it. Stick Out Tongue

Dell's PSUs are solid. You would need a much higher wattage CPU/GPU to require a bigger PSU.

It's great it means more stock for the rest of us who know the limitations and where it doesn't matter.
