IDK it seems that SE 2020 for $100 was a better deal. Same CPU 3GB vs 4GB in 11 same storage but smaller battery. At the same time SE is compact and it has a fingerprint reader while 11 doesn't. Also it seems that main camera on SE has OIS and 11 doesn't! I think I'll skip it.

Yes, can be used with any carrier after it's unlocked. To unlock just go to tfwunlockpolicy.com, can be done a few days before the year is up.

Yes, you cannot port to another company before the year ends. I'm going to do the same thing, but with a 1 year Tracfone plan. Activate that yearly plan with this phone to make sure it'll get unlocked when the plan ends.

I got the 64gb XR from one of the previous deals and sold it to my niece. She's currently using it with TF's obamaphone provider. She's on the T-Mobile network even though the phone originally came with a Total Wireless Verizon SIM.

So, if you guys have a relative who qualifies for a free phone, have them get a TF phone and a SafeLink plan.

Being that their unlock policy is 12 months of service - even @ $25 per month … you're still paying $600 for iPhone 11 which is its current price Sim-Free. Guess for people who need the service, nice deal… not so much for people trying to score a phone "deal"
