I use this calculator daily and has followed me throughout my career from banking to coding.

I'd totally recommend one if you do any math throughout the day. So much easier and more convenient than pulling up a calc/spreadsheet on the computer or using a phone. Something about the physical buttons and angled screen....

While I have no use for this I can understand when you are doing a lot calculations. Having real tactile buttons is useful and way faster if you can touch type. Also, I find that when I type too fast on my iPhone's calculator it trips up.

Gap and hollister sell tapered cargo pants, joggers. The denim cargo joggers from hollister are some of my favorite. Old navy ripstop cargo jogger pants are good too, but only if on sale for $15-20

Is it though? Calc button -> automatically has focus -> use my 10 key pad on keyboard -> done. Screen isn't just angled but is on a monitor that is perpendicular to my face.

A calculator is desk clutter, screw that.

I don't have a numpad on my keyboard. I think having a set of optimized tools is useful.

It's typically the older people at my job that still have physical calculators such as these. Excel or Calc built in to computer works so much fast for me but to each is own. Once you are used to doing something a particular way, most don't want to change. Hey whatever works and gets the job done I suppose.

Calculator use is a pretty personal thing I've found. I got rid of the one at my desk as I only use excel or the app on desktop. Especially when I have to sum a couple dozen numbers and want to double check I haven't entered any incorrectly. A guy three years younger than me relies on his 10bII almost as much as excel. Another one twelve years younger prefers an adding machine with tape and hard copies. While a lady eighteen months from retirement is the one pushing hardest for us to go paperless, increase online capabilities and improve workflows. She likes to use her iphone calculator.

Yeah dude. I carry my desktop calculator with me all the time just like I carry my desktop personal computer with me all the time.

I am an Engineer and I still have TI-83 plus from my high school (2003) at my office desk. I still use it to calculate certain things at work rather than plugging numbers in the Windows Calculator.

Having something like this on your desk telegraphs to people that you mean business.
