If you have a non- Samsung phone, and want features like ECG and BP, you can side load the required Samsung Health Monitor app

You can check out these threads regarding it:

In case you weren't aware, when you do your trade in, you can keep the bands and charger. You only need to send in the actual watch.

Charge it up before shipping and take pictures and a video of the watch starting up, just in case.

Edit: also, don't forget to power it down before sealing the box. You don't want the battery to die in case there is a delay in them getting to process your trade.

Yes, it does and now has body composition measurement. Keep in mind you need a Samsung phone in order to get those functions.

I pre-ordered more for software and hoping wear os turns around in battery life.
Is the samsung phone limitation confirmed now they've merged with Wear OS?

I see too, that the coupons are invalid for second band addition. Unless someone has a way to add it for $0
If I add the band first and add another band on the second screen this is what I get

So I did the free band coupon trick. However in the final receipt, the original band that I selected with the watch did not show up as an item (it did when I placed a prior order without the extra band). I wonder if the free band replaced the original band, or will both come?
The first band needs to be a band that shows up as one item with the watch at checkout. Like the black sports bands. I didn't try any others. The other ones that places like best buy carry might ring up as one item too.

Note that the Galaxy Watch 4 is not compatible with the iPhone, and many of the health tracking features – including the ECG, blood pressure monitoring, and body composition – will only work if you pair a Galaxy Watch 4 or Watch 4 Classic with a Samsung smartphone, according to this review https://www.techradar.com/news/samsung-galaxy-watch-4-wont-work-with-iphone-and-thats-not-the-only-problem

A review of the watch stated still no Google Assistant but may get added later. Can anyone confirm both parts of the statement?

Man, this is a good dea. I have the 40mm Galaxy Active 2 and love it... upgrading for $110 is pretty slick (along with paypal 5% discount and some rebates)... I will think about it.

Probably out of stock. You could check BestBuy or Amazon too.

Is there any benefit to using the $50 Samsung credit during the initial purchase or can I just save it for a future purchase?
I saved mine. Might use it on a charger or for a future deal.

Doesn't adding the accessories deduct the 50.00 credit?
It's the buds 2 promo -> you are "spending" your 50$ on the buds 2 - total will be $75 off. Can't combine the $50 Samsung accessories with the $75 off in the Buds 2 promo.

"We removed your previously selected offer because you chose a better deal. Your coupon is available for another purchase." This is the error message you might see. If you took away the Buds 2 promo, you could spend the $50 accessory promo on something else. Either or, not both.

Thanks. Focused on the trade in for my GS3 at $185 considering I paid $135 for it 9 months ago. Anyone besides Samsung do that?
