After giving up Staples Plus over a year ago they made me Premier for some inexplicable reason. I certainly didn't buy $1000. Finally after 1 year of free Premier they bounced me down to Base+. Only 10 cart turn ins now.

If one can combined this with the current ink rewards promo, it will make this a real nice deal for those who need the $30 ink purchase for recycling. Especially if one uses the ink recycing rewards that was posted today.

No - I was refering to the ink recycle rewards beings posted for the prior month and use that as payment.

However, Staples was offering rewards back on ink purchases. It is calculated based on the out of pocket spent. I have done these combinations in the past when the coupon works on ink. It is a nice way to spend the $30 needed for recycling if one is coming to the deadline of needing to buy more ink to be able to recycle.

Be careful. Make sure to have over $30 balance spent on ink out of pocket before taxes and after applying all coupons and rewards. Also if you combine other items in the purchase the coupon/rewards proration can mess you up. Safest to only buy ink on the purchase. I know you know all of this, but others might not.

Yes - that's why the $20 off $100 is a nice coupon if used with $40 ink recycle reward coupon. One will always exceed the $30 out of pocket and also receive additional rewards on the out of pocket portion. Just a nice combination to get a $100 value in ink along with future recycling benefits.
