Hello all,

I'm not savvy on 3D Printers, but someone linked me this price and it seems that it's as low as it's ever been. Also oddly the same store is selling it cheaper than the regular Ender 3. I picked one up because :yolo:

Ender 3X upgrades include a MK-8 Extruder and a glass bed. Might include some other stuff but that's what is explicitly listed.

Also don't know how legit Creality 3D Printer authorized [newegg.com] is as a third party seller on Newegg since they have few reviews.

Finally, someone else (Thanks actorps1!) noted it's the same price from the third party seller on Walmart:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Creali...=101001360

That seller Save money [walmart.com] has a rather middling rating.

If it's legit, this might be clearance before new models are launched or something. Hope that helps people who have been on the fence like me!

Edit:

Additionally, the Ender 3 Pro is available for $139 from the same seller on Newegg:
https://www.newegg.com/p/288-00B4-00039
Thanks MadPup!

This is a original Ender 3 (original) with additional Glass Bed and from what I tell includes a upgrade kit for a metal extruder housing (not a direct drive motor as it sorta implies).

Decent pricing, especially as first printer with the additional accessories. Likely louder than the PRO or v2 with the silent steppers and control board though.

A note on the vendor... I ordered a Creality CR-6 SE from this vendor (via Newegg) the other night. It was $286 and arrived today and was brand new and in good shape (just finished my first ever Benchy print). I was nervous because the price seemed so much lower than everywhere else, but it worked out.

Is this worthy for a first 3D printer? Or should I spend double and get something else?

The Pro is also available for $138 which is $20 more than earlier this week but still a great price IF these are legit. I ordered one thru Walmart and didn't have to pay sales tax. It has shipped and is arriving next week.

Lots of reviews on YouTube to help you decide what to buy.

There's enough upgrades on the V2 to make it worth it. I was going to spring on this, but I estimated $80 to get it to where I'd want it.

I just FOMO bought this and know nothing about 3D printers but have been wanting one to print basic parts for some time. Can anyone recommend any upgrades to this? I don't really care about it being loud as it will be in a separate part of the house.

I've been wanting a 3D printer but haven't had much time to research and decide on one. What I do know is people modify them like crazy and it's good to get a popular model so there are lots of YouTube videos and a community to help. This model supposedly checks those boxes.

Tempting at the almost $100 price point. Hoping some more experienced can comment. The seller may be shady I'm not sure.

I suggest you buy the best printer you can afford, use it, then worry about upgrades once you know what you want.

I would be very weary of this listing. Something doesn't sit right about it.

Okay, I just canceled.

Ive been wanting a 3D printer for quite some time to build basic parts, I have upwards of $400 to spend on one but every time I go to look into it I get overwhelmed.

I want to 3D print this base and have it look somewhat nice:

Buy a spool or two of PLA filament and buy some 608 bearings, M3/M4 screws, M3/M4 nuts for making functional prints.

I bought a Ender 3 V2, last sale around on Amazon when it was ~170, have spent more than that on filament.

I canceled. I'll try to hold out for a deal on a nicer model. Thanks for the reply.

Check out Thingiverse, and print out a fan shroud for the mainbaord enclosure fan, I have 4 of these ones. They're pretty good, only difference the pro really has is a 4040 extrusion on the Y axis (the bed rail)
Also check out Tomb of 3D printed horrors on youtube, or Chep

If your objective is to get quality prints with minimum of fuss then Prusa is the way to go. Yes it's $800 delivered but you likely won't need upgrades and it will save you time and filament. Also, Prusa printers hold their value so if you decide that 3d printing isn't your thing then you can get a lot of your money back when selling it.

This is the advice I received from friends who are into this game.

I was going to grab one at this price point.
But stumbled upon this for what I think is the better deal. CR-10s pro V2 for $302
