I know that costco has a great return policy, but just wanted to know how it works with the mattresses? Do we need to drop it in store? Or ship it back? Or there is an option for pick up?

Costco will schedule a mattress pickup from your home for the return, but if you want a quicker refund you can also bring it to a warehouse.

Anyone know if they will remove the old mattress? Ours is on the third floor with no elevator.

If you purchase online then mattress will be picked up by costco. You will have to arrange pickup after opening the return.
If you purchase instore then you will have to return it in store.

Right. Don't buy in store if you can. Now we have to borrow a truck and haul it back to the store to return it. What a pain.

How does this compare to the Casper Select that is also on sale at Costco?

My wife and I bought the Casper select a month ago and bought this one to compare. We prefer a firmer mattress; the Casper is probably a 6/10 firmness, this one is about a 7.5/10 (for the firm option). This one is a couple inches taller and also a bit wider, even though they are both queen size. (The Casper is actually a medium-firm, even though it says medium)

We're probably going to keep this one and return the Casper. We like that it's larger and firmer, and it seems like it will last us longer. The Casper is good, my wife and I just think this is a bit better.

Wife and I just purchased the King Medium, didn't have any issues with the weird smell people noted on some reviews. When you first lay down it feels like it is going to be too soft but the second layer seems to quickly catch you and add some firm support which we like. Edges seem to be weaker like some say in reviews but not a problem for us since the King is massive and we are not big people. I have tried side sleeping, on back and on front and all seem to be pretty comfortable.

Overall very satisfied after the first couple of weeks.

OOS NYC for all queen sizes. Anyone know if it can be ordered in store even though it's out of stock online?

The King firm mattress was just delivered and man, the mattress is so heavy !! I had to literally push the box to the bedroom !! That being said, I set it up now and but when I sat on the mattress, I sunk in it.. So going to give at least 12 hours and see how it behaves... I needed a firmer one for my back issues !! So how long did it take yours to set ? btw, I am 6'4" and 230 pounds and dont think any mattress is a firm mattress for me lol !!

King firm and medium are both OOS online, confirmed with a rep as well. You can get to the last step of checkout before getting the out of stock error.
