Seems so short sighted because I used to buy 100% of my stuff on google. Now I buy practically 100% of my stuff on Amazon. Woops
As far as abridging, I also have this boxed set [amazon.com] of the paperbacks. I can't find my copy of TLTW&TW right now, but for The Magician's Nephew:
My paper book [amazon.com] is 202 pages (ISBN 0-06-440505-2)
My digital book [amazon.com] says it is 78 pages, "Contains real page numbers based on the print edition (ISBN 1547119640)."
That print edition 1547119640 must have been huge pages. As I'm spot checking chapter 1, it looks like all the words are the same, but my paper book goes from page 3-17 while my ebook goes from page 1-6. So it appears these aren't abridged, just numbered far differently than the paperbacks.

Thanks Rowdy - hoping you are right as I bought it and read these as a kid and was looking forward to revisiting these.
I guess. The person I was responding to was saying the surveys take up too much of your time.
