SDS Plus is an improvement on the original SDS system, but remains compatible with SDS bits, and is now the most commonly seen on the market.
SDS Max is designed for the heaviest masonry work, and is incompatible with SDS/SDS+ bits.
Not quite the power of the corded Bosh Bulldog though. If you can live with a cord, that's possibly a better solution.

Is the Bosch worth the extra money? I'm already in the Dewalt system but usually am next to an outlet for projects. Decisions.
Thanks in advance.
Question for the experts in here: I want to run a gas line through a cinder block garage wall out to a deck on the other side for a grill. Anyone want to tell me that this is the drill that will get that job done? My plan was to go rent the drill and core bit but maybe now this thing can do it.
Thanks in advance.
