I see no issue with Bluetooth vs usual 2.4GHz mouse, unless it's some gaming mouse that has proprietary protocol for ultra low latency connection.
Bluetooth mouse is great for laptop, but I don't prefer that for custom built desktop.

The problem of BT keyboard and mouse is don't work until the OS finished starting up. Everytime I needed to go into BIOS, I had to connect a USB keyboard.
Seems no motherboard maker have tried to solve this issue by including bluetooth pairing in BIOS.
