For my zip, this modem isn't listed as compatible.
The old TP-LINK that I am running currently is not on that list either, they never gave me any issues to register it.
Comcast no longer supports Motorola SB6121 (DOCSIS 3.0, 4x4, capable of up to 343Mbps). And for that reason on ebay it goes for about $10 shipped.
- A minimum bonding group ability for any new devices brought onto their network
- A minimum bonding group capacity relative to your tier of service
But if you're the customer hanging on to the lowest tier of services (with download speeds of 25-200 Mbps) this modem deal is perfect for you since it will pay for itself in about two months. If you care about speed and getting the best performance out of your provider you definitely must consider a D3.1 modem if that service is available in your area. Otherwise this is a great deal for the slickest of Slickdealers.
Good luck!
Jon

I recommend to have diff.devices for diff.roles, because if combo modem/router broken you lost everything. So you need 1. modem like this one, check if it's will work for you. Home router is 2nd device.
I'm paranoid IT-guy so have: modem in free use from ISP, firewall - miniPC with 2 LAN-ports under Sophos XG Home Free, PoE-switch, cables, 2 Access points.
BTW, for bigger house WiFi should be covered by zones, 1 WiFi home router in center are good only for small apts like student studio.
You used to be able to plug the modem in and just try to use it and it would direct you to a Comcast login page to activate the modem and that worked fine but now it just tells you to use the app which doesn't work. You also used to be able to go to a specific Comcast url that would activate your modem and now that as well forces you to use their app.
