This is rated as the best all-around "standard speed 15MPH scooter" for under $500 for 2020. I researched every scooter available and watched almost every YouTube review for sub $500 scooters (I watched hundreds of videos!) and this was the model that was most consistently recommended as being the best value for the money which is why I bought it November 2020 and have used it almost every day since then. It has the battery in the base instead of the stem for better weight distribution, the high battery capacity give this scooter equal range to many $500-$800 models, it has features like cruise control that most cheaper scooters don't have, it has a digital readout showing your speed in 1/10th MPH increments, 4 bar battery meter, has a bright white headlight and red taillight for night riding which also blinks when braking, tires come pre-filled with Slime from the factory for good flat prevention since scooter tires/tubes are a huge pain to change, and has rear disc brake but it is pretty weak and needs a little adjustment ouf of the box to work well. The next step up would be about $800 for scooters that go 18MPH with only slightly better range but are usually a bit heavier, then $1200-$1400 for the scooters that go about 28MPH with nice wide tires and full suspension...and of course you can't forget the Rion Thrust for $8500 that goes 80MPH lol!

Why bother, like he has the time to deal with us peasants. LMAO Ultimately this wasn't solely Camping worlds fault but a combination of both companies. Camping World apparently made a pricing mistake and they dropped the ball in the way orders are handled with Gotrax with no ability to track progress. Gotrax likely put our orders on hold to fulfill their direct orders or customers who paid more until they ran out of stock. Needless to say I won't be doing business with either of them ever again.

On another note, I received a e-mail about my refund within hours of requesting cancellation. I now see my credit card has been refunded so it was relatively painless. I was fully expecting to go through my credit card dispute department. At least they did one thing right. nod

I just got an update from a camping world rep. GoTrax only fulfilled 10 orders before deciding to cancel everyone else's. So looks like only 10 people actually got their scooters

GoTrax somehow have the XR Elite listed as available today on their website.

I called Camping World and they told me to go to gotrax website to check V2 cause that is what they are offering as the replacement.
When I pointed out that the XR Elite is still available and ask them to have GoTrax ship it to me.
The rep told me that they are not getting them from Gotrax and it was a different vendor.
Never deal with both companies ever again!

The cancellation process was quick. I called at 10:45am, they sent me the cancellation email at 1:25pm and my PayPal was refunded at 2:11pm. So less than 4 hours from phone call to refund.

Was about to order the Macwheel MX Pro but they oos and now the price went up. I have to wait out this deal and keep an eye out for upcoming deals.

They tried offering me a lower model(GXL V2) from golabs which is gotrax parent company. Retail price under $250. I told them if they are out of stock they need to do like every other company and give the next model up. Don't sell it if you don't have it. It's principle at this point. So I'm going back and forth with camping world. I extend to get a better scooter put of this.

I also ordered the Amazon lightning deal for $150. Which also shipped from golabs just like this one! After I ordered these!!! Took two days to get the one from Amazon.

This is my first experience with camping world and it's been disappointing for sure. We will see what resolution I end up with.

Update: I just got a response from Gotrax nearly 2 weeks after I messaged them. After all that they still couldn't tell me anything useful about my order nor did they realize my order has been cancelled a while ago. LMAOLMAO

This has been the most stressful order I've ever made. Took them 3 weeks to realize they were out of stock so I called them and they agreed to replacement my order with the jetson($489) scooter. A week passed by and I called them again about my update. Now they won't do it because they only have the cheaper version for replacement. I said fuk it. Just cancel everything and I won't deal it with!

campingworld really dropped the ball here. I was offered $50 credit, or a crappy swag tron in place of the Ultra. swag tron from my own experience is not a good one. I'll wait for a couple more weeks to see if they pull through, I'm not bullish on this one though.
