I bought the original keyboard (on clearance) from a different target store which was about 30 mins away from my home (the closer store didn't have it in stock). But to do my exchange, I went to the closer store because all I wanted was to exchange it with the new version which they had in stock. When I told him I need to get newer version, he rang both items, kept the old one and handed me the newer one with a receipt that said $0 balance.
The reason for this in my opinion is: They didn't have the item on clearance because, well, they were out of stock in the first place. When I asked him to do an exchange, both items must have rang at same price. So he did even exchange or maybe he just didn't care🤔. That's all I can think of. But hey it got me a heck of a deal🎉
