The WM (offup/FBM) you can buy the 2ah for $30 all day. The 4ah are never above $60 (most 5ah are $50-60 lately).
Also, you can buy a 4ah Dewalt knockoff (they will say it's a 6ah, but it's actually a 4ah) for <$30 on Amazon.
Dewalts batteries have fallen in quality (alongside their tools). And I've said it before, but that dirty little mistress, Bosch, has taken my Yellow and Black heart, and turned it blue. I have almost all of my Dewalts on the white market right now. My heart was broken too many times by SB&D lately. And Bosch (Borsch if you ask AvE) has been pushing hard after fixing their old 💩 batteries. I really want their SCMS but the dust collection on it isn't great. Better than Dewalt, but not $700 worth dust collection. 😔
Dang, I love my power tools... but they're all seemingly stagnating or devolving in quality... have you seen the new type DWS779? ITS Metabo quality now, and soon yo be on par with Ryobi if the keep cheapening it up like they have been.
