Seems like a good deal, but what's the actual discount code? Doesn't seem to be showing up on my Android app. Thanks!

15 watts of tube power is perfect for home use. These get really good reviews, for the price it's slick.

That 15 watt tube amp is plenty for a band if you pair it with a 2x12 or 4x12 cab and don't need a pristine clean tone. I was able to keep up with a drummer and even got told to turn it down by the other guitar player. Great amp, wish I would have had it when I started playing guitar.

15 watt tube amp also has a button on the front that toggles between 15 and 1 watt output.

Yep 15 watts of tube is plenty loud and may be even too loud for home use haha. Prob need to switch to 1 watt. Great deals.

One watt is plenty loud for the room I play in at home.

I have a cheap fender guitar and bass that my kids (and I) play terribly on and need amps for them. Are these reasonably good or should I spend more $$$ for something better? None of us are very good, so this seems ok for us.

guitar amp for $56 [monoprice.com]
bass amp for $64 [monoprice.com]

Would it make any sense to spring for that 40W amp with spring reverb for $24 more?

On the website I don't see any info if this is a tube amp and does not say what tubes. I'm only showing spring reverb.

Of the two guitar amps, it's worth the extra to get the 40W IMHO. It has a better speaker, more output headroom, reverb, and it has an effects loop which is uncommon at this price point.

The reverb isn't great, but it does work. I paid $10 less, but that was a few years ago.

Thanks for the input. For $24 more it seemed like a big upgrade for cheap so I went with the 40W.

Any idea how long the sale runs? I have the 15w tube and it's incredible for the price. Thinking of trying out another amp.

The 1 watt switch is an input attenuation, not an actual power attenuation, triode, pentode, etc. It doesn't really lose any highs though. I never use it for living room practice, just keep the volume down and nudge the gain up to compensate for saturation.

The 40 watt has a "special feature" the volume knob goes to 11.
How very Spinal Tap.
