You would use different weight dumbbells for different exercises. As an ex, you might use 60 - 100 lb dumbells for chest press, 35 - 60 lbs for bicep curls, and 25 - 35 lbs for something like upright should extensions/flies, etc, etc.

Nice timing! I just bought a couple more pairs of rubber hex dumbbells that finally put my big 3-tier rack over-capacity the other week. Been looking for a cheap A-frame for my smaller pairs so they aren't scattered all over the floor woot

Needed a step ladder, and thought this was some funky Chinese-dragon-inspired looking thing.

Jokes aside though, aren't dumbbells meant to be replaced with higher weights? Why would one need these many dumbbells?

Only 200lb limit...only up to a 35lb DB. No good for me. Smallest pair is 20 up to 80. They'll stay on the floor for now.

Be careful, only certain sizes fit on these before the heads start touching each other.

I have dumbbells from 5lbs all the way up to 70lbs in increments of 5lbs plus some odd sizes like 8lbs and 12 lbs and I use nearly all of them most weeks. Heavier isn't always better, especially if you're targeting small muscle groups or doing rehab exercises after injury.

At this price I'm thinking of buying it even though I only have 2 pairs of dumbbells. But the reviews on the smell is really off-putting

I have this along with the 5 to 35 lb weights. The smell eventually goes away especially after wiping it down and letting it air out for a week or two

Any tips to help secure the weights on the rack so that children dont try to take them out? (My kids don't do it today but it doesn't mean they won't later on. Probably have to move them to the garage if I don't find a good solution). I was thinking of drilling a couple of holes near the top and bottom and use a couple of adjustable bungie cords so the weights are harder to remove from the rack.

I'll give it a shot for 29 dollars. It'll go in my garage gym. Returning with amazon is a breeze

We have the inspire fitness one that has 6 levels and currently houses 210lbs (5-30lb) pairs. This is basically the same thing but with only 5 levels. It's not the most sturdiest thing ever, but for $30 id say if you're in the market for one and don't lift the heaviest weights it's worth it.

It's perfect for my pair of 100lbs dumbbell.
