Costco put their dji mini 2 bundle on sale today which is $40 off the original price and the lowest I can find so far.
The bundle includes a small bag, 32GB memory card, and 1 extra battery.
Costco member only and 3 per membership.

Depends on the extent of the damage , I'm on a group where people have crashed due to pilot error others claimed it just flew away never to be found and they just paid the deductible for a replacement . Others have paid to have it fixed . I didn't purchase and mine crashed into the side of my house just hovering. didn't damage anything except top outer shell cracked , I ordered a new one off amazon and replaced it myself .

I bought this at Costco at regular price . Also purchased a tablet mount for the iPad instead of the phone and a charger that charges up to 4 batteries , the remote and phone all at once . Its so easy to fly you could be mentally challenged and be able to fly this thing . Make sure you have enough satellites before you take off , I personally wont take off unless I have at least 12 showing . Your return to home should be set higher then any tree or building your flight around . I was on the lake and sent it out about 2 miles away over homes yesterday and lost direct line of sight . got worried trying to do it fpv and just clicked return to home . There are all kinds of how to vids and tips and tricks on YouTube so make sure check them out before flying .

There is no controller. You charge it by plugging the cable into the drone itself. You can also buy a charging block to charge the batteries at once.

If you want a toy, get a holystone drone for half the price. You're paying more for the superior video, camera gimbal, and flight range. $430 is steep for a toy but not a piece of camera equipment.

For those talking about adding accessories - do consider that technically it will take it over the 249g weight threshold and taking it out of the exemption territory. Perhaps more critically it could also force the drone to go into payload mode which restricts some flight ability. Lastly - using the prop guards outside near trees etc is not the smartest idea imho as it's more likely it ll get tangled up and possibly cause more damage than without it.
