I have purchased from them twice through Amazon. They are very responsive to emails and have a support facility (or person) in Texas for warranty issues. The Amazon order shipped from a local warehouse (possibly Amazon's) as I received my order in two days or less.
Minisforum and beelink are two that are beyond the other chinese brands. Mini has stepped up their game with since using ryzen.

A $300 laptop with a low end graphics card will perform better than this.

In my opinion this is a stupid product. it has all of that CPU power but no way to install a graphics processor. What would you need that CPU power for?
For you, may be gaming is the only use case for having a computer but people do other stuff and actual works in their computer, instead of just gaming in it.
You cannot figure out what for what people need that CPU power, shows your knowledge level. Here goes some example where you need that much processing power: Coding and big code complication, Video and Audio Encoding and basic editing, Compression and decompression related works, CAD related works, large number crunching in different applications like Excel, Accounting software, running different type of mathematical programs and simulations like in MATLAB. Haven't you heard of these before?

5. There is no Excel spreadsheet anywhere on the planet that will experience any perceivable performance difference between a system with this CPU and its ten-year-old version. That is another comment that has anyone with knowledge of the subject-matter rolling in laughter on the floor.
I regularly work on spreadsheets that max out my 2 year old PC with an i7 CPU and 32GB RAM. CPU will be pegged at 100%. It often takes several long minutes for data filtering and sorting. Does this mean my spreadsheets are other-worldly or that CPU processing power has not really improved much in the last 10 years?

I hear you as I also use a lot of complex VB based macros on huge excel sheets, with 60,000 to 120,000 rows and some code even have DB connections to Oracle or SQL server. It saturates my 8-Core i9-9880H with all cores running over 90% and memory usage near 32GB. I also do a lot of bigger project compilations in Visual Studio and I know how much resource hungry they can be.
Looks like that guy does not really do any actual work on computer and probably play Counterstrike Global Offensive 24x7 and having 300 FPS on that game is the one and only use case for a computer, at least to him.

A spreadsheet at maximum capacity with every single cell filled with random data can be completed with a benchmark in about 30 seconds on an average system and in about 20 seconds on the most powerful systems overclocked to over 5GHz. if your spreadsheet is taking that long to sort the CPU is NOT the bottleneck. You should check the task manager. I'd bet you aren't even using half of the CPU's processing power.

This is pure BS. My excel data reports range from 100-400MB. Most processing will take time, certainly well beyond 30s.

That might be true if all you have is random data on one sheet. Fill up multiple dozen sheets with data and start performing complex queries, formulas and data compares/validations across all those sheets and you'll easily overwhelm all the cores in a CPU.

I don't need to prove anything to you. You are looking at things from a very small viewpoint. There are people out there doing real work on regular computers in the business space. I know what I do day in and day out with Excel and it will definitely bog down my two year old office PC with an i7. This same problem happens to most everyone in my department as well. It's not just me.

Bios update through email?
Responsive is not identical with easy

My example of buying gmk nuc:

I bought gmk nuc box. It is good on the paper, upgrading bios was a headche. It was half-bake production. No pwm fans at all.
I return to amazon after 24 days..

If this ships by amazon. I wouls to try and do some testing and abuse . Something is half-baked, I can return to amazob without hassle

I prefer known brand. Such as lenovo IoT . Upgrading bios pr pulling needed drivers are easy. It has officially lenovo static linux packaga😄

Easy is relative. This isn't a high performance machine that you need to constantly update drivers/BIOS to eek out the best performance out of them. BIOS/drivers only need to be updated as required to fix an operational/security issue. Usually the universal drivers from the component manufacturers will suffice for this purpose.

No one I responded to brought up the concern for easy support and easy update of drivers/BIOS. They were concerned about no support or having to send the unit back to HK for warranty. I addressed both in my response. Support is there. They respond within a day. They have a US address to send the unit to for replacement/repair.

I addressed their concerns. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I just thrown some points that some people have different opinion. Easy to update firmware or drivers such as lenovo or other brands.

Other thought. How the system handling the heat in compact size?
Having some compact hp machinese. It utilized big giant heatsink… how about their doing to handle the heat.

Like i said, if ships by amazon. I will buy to see the overal performance. If half-baked, just return to amazo. As i did with gmk nuc😄
You do not address their concerns , just fed up you objectiveness. This is the reason I reply your post.

Example for me: easy is real easy no email or do this/that.
Support must be good for issue not just how their response to solve issue. An example, gmk email support was responsive, but "try this" or " send the link to download this file" 😀. Returning or rma was a hassle to. Luck shipped by amazon, i just return gmk nuc and fully refunded within 1 hour👌
For you is not important. For me or others is important.
Please read my experience with gmk nuc😆,

That is. There is no more or less.

They do not embedded wins license into the machine like regular known brands😄
Why? Less cost
