Wish best buy would match this price. I don't believe warranties purchased with TVs sold by Amazon cover burn in.

apply for card, pay full price of $2,298.00 upfront and amazon will eventually refund you $229.80. Is that how this works?

Not a refund, but you'll get $229 credit in your Amazon account to use for other purchases.

"The extra % Back will post to your account within a week of the transaction posting, and will appear on your monthly credit card billing statement and be available for use within 1-2 billing cycles."

The Prime Rewards Visa is through Chase, so it posts as an extra 5% to your "Amazon Rewards points" on Chase's website. You can subsequently redeem them for statement credit.

Thanks for the classifications. If I apply and am approved for the card, can I use it immediately? Or do I have to wait for the physical card to arrive?

Got an offer on GToe for $1998, no tax and free shipping. But I wander if I should wait for BF, maybe save a few more hundreds by then 🤔

When I got the card a few years back it was automatically added to my account upon approval. Not sure if that's still the case, but I'd be surprised if they made it harder to start spending on it.

It'll likely get to that price point, maybe a little cheaper, for BF at the regular retailers. But taxes (if you live in a sales tax state) will take it over the GT price. GT is usually $300 cheaper than whatever the current price is. But they don't usually take BF deals into effect

Is the card only for Prime members?

does it mean it requires Prime membership? the first 5% because the card always gives you 5% cashback but this promotion kicks in an additional 5%?

I believe so. The T&C state "Cardholders with an eligible Prime membership get additional rewards on eligible purchases shipped and sold by Amazon.com made using your Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card, excluding purchases made through Subscribe and Save, Installments, Prime Wardrobe, and Amazon Fresh."

I've been in the same boat lol. It's between the A80J and the G1 for me. I've resisted this long, so I might as well keep waiting

Ohhh lol. Waiting til the 2022 model so this will cheaper like A8H model now? What is your target price range for this before making that sacrifice? Lol

That's the plan! On Prime day the last two years they've had Sony OLED's on sale. With the A8H being on sale for this year's. I don't know if I can wait that long, so if BF gets close enough I may just pull the trigger
