I normally love Mario Kart games, but I'm not sold on this one. Just looks like there isn't much to do. Wish there was additional Mario Kart 8 dlc instead for now and then a Mario Kart 9 on Switch's successor.

I remember laughing when they were selling this for 99usd at one point.

You can't play with friends online and it's not even couch Co-op friendly. Each extra car is the price of a Nissan Ultima.

Nintendo is really trying to find the limits of high prices for gimmicky features.

True, it's just disappointing it's been so long since a new traditional game in the franchise especially if you originally played 8 on Wii U like me.

It kind is is what it is. You're not getting a deep Mario kart experience here. But it's a fun toy for an RC car you can control with your Switch with augmented reality elements.

My kid loves it. The other day she played with it for 4 hours straight, and customized the race track with all her World of Nintendo figures and stuff.

I don't know how many hours of use we will get out of it, but it was a toy that definitely had a "wow" factor that made for a great birthday gift.
