I needed this sprayer but was holding off until Labor Day to see if any sales come up but looked around anyway and saw it on sale at Blain's Farm and Fleet for $279.99. Shipping killed it for me so I submitted a better price at Amazon.
I checked the prices this morning and it seems Amazon and Home Depot price matched for $279.65. Checking Slickdeals, lowest price this year was $289.

It's so nice that the most gifted, and truly genius among us stop by to share things like "Paint sprayers kinda suck no matter which one you get.". Talk about a well thought out, reasonable statement! Even a cursory search on YouTube yields countless videos of people (professionals and DIY alike) getting great results with paint sprayers.
I've used the Graco X7 (same thing, just bigger?) over the past 5 years for interior and exterior painting with minimal issues. I've sprayed walls, ceilings, doors, trim, siding, fences, and other miscellaneous things with great results. The finish far exceeds that of rolling. I'm not a professional, either.
Like anything, there is a learning curve. Start with low pressure, and increase until you have the right fan. Don't start on the max pressure. Of course, you'll higher pressures for thicker paints (e.g. SW Emerald Exterior) versus an interior paint (SW Emerald SuperPaint, SW Emerald Interior). There are plenty of resources and examples that will help you learn how to use a paint sprayer and get good and even great results.

Cleaning isn't fun but it's better than a lot I've had to clean. No issues with it besides the inherent paint sprayer issues.
I'd recommend it if you need a paint sprayer.
Thanks
