If you want a multi-media do it all watch this is NOT for you.
-Notification is minimal, you can only receiver the notification, you can reply back from the phone. You can only read text message.
-No multimedia (can't play music or control music from watch)
-Limited watch face
If you want a "tough G-Shock" style watch to keep track of time, notification, monitor your work out stats when working out and a good GPS, this watch is great for it.
The battery life on this is great but you won't get 20 days with this unless you don't work out. I go on 6+ hours hike with the watch tracking, and when I get home I will have about 50-60 % left on the battery. I haven't been on hikes due to the fire in Cali and I get about a 10 days worth of battery with normal notification and "always on" face.

I personally can't find real uses for the smart watches that do everything. I don't want to take a call on it and don't use the multimedia features at all on them. What I will most is battery life. I want to be able to use the watch for GPS and actual tracking of my vitals daily without having to charge it daily. And I don't use GPS all the time, I have to be doing something very specific with it hiker walk where I need GPS for vitals. Outside of that I use a Garmin etrex or other Garmin GPS tracking on the map for that type of stuff. So my watch strictly does vitals and GPS only for a long bike ride or hike where I don't care for mapping.
I have yet to use a t-rex, but I thought this deal was for the pro I was about to say I'm about to send that thing back and get the pro version. But for everything I've seen, and what I'm going to be using for her, the pro does not add more than what I'm getting with the t-rex. And the T-Rex only has a color display over my instinct... I still think that T-Rex is going to be used more in my Samsung smartwatch. I really don't care for big bright color screen because it actually interferes with hunting. That's where the instinct shines so much. That screen is displayed all day and the ink is fantastic
