I bought the concentrate from Amazon (3rd party), and I just use a sprayer. I can spray about 100 times and still have some left over lol. I've been using bifen for about 5+ years. It really only works for about 1-2 months. Then it starts being less effective. My recommendation is to spray every other month starting with May and ending in October if your temps start to drop down to 60 degrees. Spraying once a month is really effective, but I'm too lazy for that. I haven't found anything that's works as good as bifen, kills everything...fire ants, beetles, mosquito, everything. I would recommend spraying away from flowers and leaves where bees are attractive to. This will kill bees, so be careful.
Get demand cs. Takes 15-30 min to kill a but, but it's micro-encapsulated, so even outdoors it will last 3-6 months. Indoors up to a year
Might give that a shot, been thinking about Alpine WSG but neither that or this is safe around vegetable gardens. Not that the ortho is either, but I was just testing out the ortho since it's cheap.
Ants are everywhere where I live. Why I hope this put down the perimeter and keep them out. But it didn't work on my ants. I spray on the ants and all around where I find them, they wait til dry and just continue. The one that got spray on also wait til dry and continue.
Does it keep rodents and/or other 'feral creatures' away when sprayed around the perimeter?

I think I'll try using the borax to do the perimeter see if that do anything.
