Can confirm, I own this for almost 2 years now.

Despite the non HD for Netflix, IMHO this is one of the best media consumption tablets I've seen. The sound alone coming from this thing does wonders especially if you have this propped on a table with a couple of people watching.

Non HD Netflix is easily forgotten when I use it but predominantly we use this as a YouTube TV streaming device on a table during breakfast.

Can confirm, I own this for almost 2 years now.

I know it's been cheaper (last BF, as most things were) but with ebay 5% buck promo and my Samsung chromebook starting to crapout, pulled the trigger - looking forward to hearing the speakers and glad that it has a headphone jack given BT audio sometimes out of sync w/video.

BTW, I know it was suppose to get Android 10 in Jan, but was unable to find anything definitive - can anyone confirm?

This is a fully functional Tablet but it is made as a Google Assistant. Like for the kitchen or bedroom. You can use the tablet for whatever but the purpose is more about great sound. It is more about hearing you well throughout the room.

720P Netflix is not the best but watchable.

Did this fix the Netflix problem? It is a software problem is why I ask. It has proper hardware.

No issues after the upgrade to 10. If fact, it's slightly faster than the original 9 that came with it. My main use is for the Eufy security camera app. Other uses are Netflix (SD), Youtube TV, Skype, etc.

Does Netflix now do 1080P. It may now via Android 10 update.

It is good for media consumption. But the cpu is too slow for other tasks. I returned it.

highly recommend the new fire hd 10, $80 on sale, as low as $60. battery runs for 13-15 hours screen on per charge.

Fire HD tablets have their use cases but this is definitely way above those. The build quality and sound from these are much much better.
