Just a heads up, this (as a 2m "active" TB3 cable) will not support standard USB-C devices at 3.1 speeds, only Thunderbolt or USB 2.0. I realize the product page says it supports "billions of USB devices", but I interpret that as supporting USB via the Thunderbolt protocol, not natively over this active cable.

Ionno about that though. More like "Life time of the product on their WEBPAGE".

Chances are they're going to redesign it so they can say the product has been "Discontinued" that way they don't have to replace your cable but just issue you store credit lol.

Then you have to wait till the sale comes around again because if you pay for another cable at full price with the store credit, you're still pretty much paying full price since that store credit is something you already paid for in the past. If that made any sense Confused

Or I'm just overthinking this LMAO

Haha I got ya. I've used monoprice for cables for many years and done a few warranty exchanges. They're pretty good. But also in time newer tech will require newer cables for maximum tech, so lifetime is relative

Not sure if there are $15 40GBPs and 100W PD cables from amazon basics out there. those I've seen are regular USB-C
