Thumbs up to both companies. Ego is the shiz. Once you get in their ecosystem you will be hooked. Get a few batteries to rotate and bob's your uncle. Great quality, even better warranty program. In addition Acme stands by them. Class act when I had to return a faulty blower.
Good deal. I bought a refurbed hedge trimmer. Works great. Agreed that the extra battery is a no brainer. These things are $100/ea new.
Unfortunately it doesn't look like they tell you which battery you get with most of them. The 2.5Ah battery comes in two flavors: BA1400 and BA1400T. The "T" gives you a 5 bar fuel gauge, and the other relies on a different color LED - not great if you're color blind.
I have a 1/4 of an acre, and I can do my lawn with enough charge to do the front again... that's mulching. That's also with the 5 Ah battery.

I might be mistaken but I think EGO doesn't recommend hosing the underside of the mower. I have 2135 and it's mentioned in the user manual. May be different models have different warnings/restrictions
I've got a very small yard maybe ~1000sqft including all the boulevards (corner lot). I'm also looking for a snowblower for this winter so was pretty interested in getting into EGO. With how small the yard is I'm debating whether I really need an EGO or I should get a cheaper Kobalt or even 18v Ryobi since I've got their 18v tools and a weed whacker already).
Would the LM2101 (non self propelled) be overkill? My local Lowes has the Kobalt 40v mower for only $150 but that would be another battery system along with the Ego snowblower
Damn it.. just bought the lawn mower last week. That being said: the thing shreds. One charge did my front and backyard (which I wasn't expecting) and it's way more quiet than a tradition. It kinda sounds like if your neighbor was mowing their lawn and you heard it from inside your place? Kinda hard to explain but i'm super happy with the purchase. Might grab something else to build the up the ecosystem.

The Society to Save Old Sayings would like to personally thank you for using the phrase "Bob's Your Uncle." Although it traces to a corrupt Turn of the Century UK bureaucrat— it nonetheless was part of our American heritage as well and is worthy of preservation.
After I ordered, I noticed that the code didn't work for me either. I then went online to their customer service chat and they credit my paypal account.
It looks like they increased the price for some of the items since the last 10% sale earlier in the year. edit. It was actually 15% earlier in the year so they didn't raise the prices.
I bought a LM2102SP but the 7.5Ah battery isn't good enough for me to finish my lawn. I'm looking to get another battery in one of these sets.
Does anyone know how long a 2.5Ah battery would last in the LM2102SP mower?
