Amazon
I'm looking to buy some living room and kitchen furniture from Amazon and wanted to know how it works when a third party seller ships and sells the item and you want to return item is it the same when Amazon ships and sells item i.e. 30 days to return and then Amazon just schedules a pick up and it is free?
Do third party sellers have the same process?
or do they expect you to pay return shipping and possibly a restocking fee?

So I have been buying a few things from Amazon 3rd's (non Prime) with a very long shipping window. At the end of checking out I realize they are probably Chinese sellers. Always issues, from missleading descriptions to shoddy shipping, to just trying to scam me with just plain cheap ass garbage they can get real money for in this country. Amazon knows they are flooding their site with this stuff and cancels them if I complain everytime.
As for 3rd's shipping from the US you don't have as many rights if they don't use prime. However as always with Amazon if you plead your case effectively Amazon nearly always has your back, as long as you don't abuse their I guess you call it generosity. I would be weary of the possibility of having to cover return shipping of any thing large and heavy though.

In many of those cases the "customers" circumvented the sellers by complaining to Amazon CSR's and getting fraudulent A to Z claims opened that forced sellers to take back stuff on their dime.
Of course it didn't help when it seemed like many of the forum members were bulk sellers and had "refund and move on" as their (shit) policy, which held zero buyers responsible and conditioned them to expect that from every seller.
