I got an email after selecting the 10% off at Target.

This offer is good for a max discount of $50.00 USD.
You can use this offer at the Target website.
All you need to do is pay with PayPal at checkout and the
reward will automatically be applied to your next eligible purchase.

Does that mean what it says? Confused

$450 for a Target gift card. Not bad hope my order does not get cancelled. PayPal showed the $50 discount once and then Target showed the full amount $500 after that. Placed the order and when I login to my PayPal account it still shows $500 total. Email I received shows $450 and Discover CC charged $450 so it seems like the $50 discount did go through.

Ordered a $500 Target gift card. PayPal landing page showed the 10% discount. After the order was placed, however, PayPal now shows a pending transaction for $500. WTF? What happened to the discount?

I did not see it on my at first. I searched target and only a couple random things about free shipping showed up. I refreshed my offers page and large banner showed with the 10% offer. Worth a try.

I didn't have any issue but one of my friends got the order canceled. Order cancellation e-mail doesn't say clearly why it was canceled.

Damn I already have over $1000 in Target GC balance... I don't need to add anymore.

I wish Target would sell computer stuff.

Looks like restaurant GCs might have to be it. Maybe eBay gift cards?

When you were checking out on the paypal screen did it coupon applied and $450 charged to credit card[looks like you said it did]? If so you should be good I think. When I checked out target showed $500, paypal checkout screen showed $500 minus $50 promo and only $450 being charged to credit card. Right after order When I logged into paypal it showed pending $500, but when I logged onto credit card it showed as pending as $450. So I think you should still be good, try logging into your credit card used and see what it showes charged as. Update: I rechecked payapl about 5 minutes later and is showes as $450 (no longer pending).

Double check your discover cashback bonus already earned. I had capped mine at $75, so I used a different card for payment.

Edit: Airbnb GC order automatically canceled right after placing

Try both on app and on web. Cannot find this offer after multiple trials. It is definitely a Targeted Target offer.
