Has anyone tried signing up for a new PayPal account with the $10 off $20 promo? Does it stack with this promo?

https://slickdeals.net/f/15238513-paypal-10-off-20-or-5-off-10-with-new-sign-up

Edit: It works!

Steps to replicate:

1) Go to https://www.paypal.com/us/home in Incognito Mode
2) If you see a $5 offer, close the browser and repeat step 1 until you see a $10 offer
3) Sign up with new email and card
4) Go to the link in the OP to claim the 10% off
5) At check out, both $10 off and 10% is applied on a $50 Target GC.

First I clicked "Use Offer" on PayPal screen

Added the Segway E22 Electric Scooter for $500 to cart.

Clicked pay another way, used PayPal and was presented the PayPal check out screen with the 10% off.

Quote :
Target offer We automatically applied 10% off from your account to this purchase. (Max discount is $50.00)
HOWEVER, when I clicked continue to Target checkout, it stated the full price?

If I click place your order, will it be at that Target checkout price or the amount per the PayPal page? Confusing!

Question for Target shoppers:
If I purchase something using Target gift cards and Target RedCard (split the payment), would the 5% RedCard discount apply to the whole purchase price?

TIA

ETA: Never mind, found the answer. 5% discount applies only to the $ charged on the RedCard, not gift cards.

The 10% offer is thru PayPal and not affiliated with Target per the terms and conditions. Thats why you will see the 10% off ($50) at the PayPal checkout screen but once you go back to Target checkout it will still show full price. Target is getting it's $500 from PayPal. PayPal is giving you the discount and $50 off. You will only pay $450 thru whatever payment method you set on PayPal. Your Target order confirmation and details will show that you paid $500 via PayPal.

Doesn't Target put "Target" gift cards on sale for one day in December for 10% off? Don't know why people would waste this deal on that type gift card.
Buy Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals in November?

No. It's normally the week before Xmas. One day only. On a Saturday. Plus, you can buy in store or online. Normally 3 per transaction. My store allowed multiple transactions to get around the limit.

However, you can't buy a gift card with a gift card at Target.

I think it take "red card" as default payment. When I switch it to PayPal payment, I still cannot see the discount from target page. However, if you process the payment via PayPal and jump to PayPal page, You will see the amount you pay is after discount. So I believe this discount is given by paypal. Anyway, the money out of your pocket is after discount from my experience.

I know.
That is why waiting for the one day 10% off deal in December is too late if you want to get in on the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
So buy the Target eGift cards now.
