it's the mini and its single player.
i bought the 2 player version and set it up with all the games. my kids played it for a total of about 45 minutes. and I don't game at all. wasn't as cool as I had envisioned. oh well...
this is still a good deal for this thing.

Can this one be used as just a regular USB controller when plugged into a PC? or can it be only used as "game console".

EDIT: Never mind. I read the description and yes it can be used as controller for PC as per description.

Love this product. It comes with the core which you can add a usb stick that you can purchase with all the video games you want. We add a few generic Bluetooth controllers and play 4 kids on Gauntlet, Simpsons, bowling, Bomberman, etc. for $72, great deal. The Core by itself is $70 which is what I bought a few weeks ago. Good times.
