Love this product. It comes with the core which you can add a usb stick that you can purchase with all the video games you want. We add a few generic Bluetooth controllers and play 4 kids on Gauntlet, Simpsons, bowling, Bomberman, etc. for $72, great deal. The Core by itself is $70 which is what I bought a few weeks ago. Good times.
How many Bluetooth remotes can you connect to the core?

lol... that's a little bit more complicated. but to sum it up, he is referring to the diy game solution a lot of people use with this. It's official name is CoinOpsX. Check the reddit link earlier in the thread.

just fyi - it's not really a hack. the company is well aware people are doing it - they just can't really market it as a feature in the way it ends up being used because it isn't exactly 100% legal and it makes them no money. They would prefer you use their subscription solution.

Would two singles be able to be connected to the same device for multiplayer games?
Yes. You would need a usb hub, probably a powered one.

Can you play "newer" games on this like Tekken 3 or Soul Calibur?
no - 3D is out, as are some others like NFL Blitz, Cruis'n USA, Killer Instinct.

Power-wise think more like Tetris, Gauntlet, X-Men, TMNT, Simpsons, and NES and SNES-era console.

I've connected. 4 total. Xbox X controller and 3 generic controllers. The ps4 and Xbox 360 controllers and older don't work. AtGames sells their own $30 controller too.

Does this come with the round hub? Or is it just the game pad?

it's the hub too - called the "core", but most everybody just calls it the puck. This is essentially the same backend that runs the Legend Gamer Ultimate stand-up arcade that Sams Club sells.

Oh okay so we could technically just use the puck without the game of and use Bluetooth remotes

Yeah - the puck will accept this joystick and/or many other controllers, both USB-connected and Bluetooth.

Ah I see. I have been looking through the subreddit and I figured it was an emulation community but the term saUCE was throwing me off. Thanks for the info.

Only if you use it with a PC and have those games on PC. Works as a BT controller for any PC, and then it's basically whatever you want.

I'll bite at this price. Not a bad deal either if you want to use it purely as a controller for a PC or another device.

Wish it came with the trackball like the two player version. Sauce makes this a fantastic retro machine for us old guys.

Kids will hate this… if you started them on a PS5.
I think if your kids are older, you are right. I have a 4 and 9 year old and they have not been exposed to PS5 or XBox or Switch. So this is the best thing they have ever experiencedSmilie. It's fun because all the old school games are all about button mashing and timing.
