Wasn't this the same sale recently? Everyone is running this sale price even direct LG and Best Buy. Military discount could be added at Lowe's for sure.

Do you think this will be the best price or Black Friday?

Same price at Costco, perhaps better deal as it includes installation

Nice catch! Checked it yesterday and wasn't discounted. Costco normally includes extended warranties as well. Wish they had the next model up though, WSGX201HNA/WSEX201HNA. A few nice features with that model.

Color me dense, but what's the advantage here over stacking individual washer and dryer units? Here, it seems like if one unit fails, you are replacing both. Does it offer other advantages as a combined unit?

Some people dont have the space for two separate units, thats about it.

Controls are combined to central location for easy access. Also since they are together they talk to each other, so the dryer already knows what is coming. Otherwise yes it's just like stacking two HE units so not a big difference. LG is probably the most reliable washer and dryers on the current market. These units are too new to say. I don't replace single units but pairs.

There are also individual units (washer/dryer) which can be stacked. Altho, that means controls for the dryer (usually the unit on top) will be at the top. So depending on how tall you are, the controls for the top unit may be hard to reach. The LG WashTower has both sets of controls in the middle (am about to replace a 20+ yr. old Maytag unit that was designed the same way...sad to have to "put it out to pasture", but I have gotten my money's worth out of it Smilie

For me, even tho I have space for a side-by-side, I want to install a counter/sink next to the washer/dryer and I have to go "vertical" to be able to do that.

Fwiw - Home Depot is also pretty much running the same sale. Must be LG sponsored. However, it looks like the Costco deal might be the best: 2 yr. warranty, installation and a sightly better price ($50 less for the low end unit).

Cheers....

By the model no. you've provided, you're looking for the gas dryer version. They have a similar model (no. may be a Costco specific ID). Altho, in the overall listing it shows up at $1,849.99 (https://www.costco.com/washer-dryer-combo.html) and in the specific listing it's $1,949.99 (https://www.costco.com/lg-single-...3512.html) .

You'll have to sort that out with Costco Smilie Good luck and cheers...

And what does that do? Does the dryer preheat or something, or just knowingly waits in anticipation lol
