If you get Titanfall 2 just remember that their servers are getting DDOS attacks randomly and has been going on for more than a month. Other than that, single player is awesome and if you're able to play multiplayer, it's even better!
Doh! I just bought Sims 4 Dine Out this morning through EA for $14.99. Still, at least the price different isn't much. EA has a bunch of the Sims packs on sale for 25% off right now.
Just recently got into PC gaming, any stand out games in this sale? Already have Civ and am really open to anything. Currently playing Valheim and League but looking to build up my catalogue more. Any suggestions are appreciated!

GTA V and City Skylines on this list are good adds to any collection.

Titanfall 2's single player campaign was fantastic— It is a shame it got skipped by a lot of gamers. The time mechanic later on is one of the best I've ever played in an FPS.

Solo campaign and online multiplayer and both good. Used to play it a lot after it was originally released.
i usually like RTS but homeworld 1 and 2 were just too complex for me. is deserts of kharak any easier?
i haven't played the desert campaign but was a huge fan of homeworld 1 and 2. i think the key to HW1/2 is diversifying your unit types and learning how to organize/manage your fleets. there isn't really a single unit type to invest in. you need small/medium to adequately defend medium/large ships. ie fighters and flak freighters are great against fighters/bombers/corvettes but if you invest solely in that you'll get destroyed by torpedo freighters and such.
it being 2d battlefield might make it easier to manage than HW1/2 being 3d. i'm not sure how resources work with desert but not having to setup/manage and defend outposts might make it easier too. if you like the RTS genre, i wouldn't give up on HW1/2. i'd just say play more to get the knowledge/skills needed : }
last note, not sure how the remaster is but the originals had tons of mods. there were literally gigabyte sized mods that had overhauled the game with a new campaign and an array of themed ships (ie star wars).

Sims 4 is currently $5 through Origin directly. That's a better deal than the $9 here.
Battlefield V is currently free via Amazon Games if you have Amazon Prime.

I'd say yes. It's been a long time since I've played those, but Deserts of Kharak is a more traditional top down RTS vs HW 1 and 2
