Yeh from my experience metro/T-Mobile are usually more pricey. boost/sprint codes are usually under 10$ although they aren't really codes, they usually require you to plug your phone in via usb, and the guy unlocking it uses some software via team viewer. Never had an issue so far.

Tried bb chat several time and in person at 2 stores, got shot down immediately. Tried target and even in t-mo store. I feel like at the t-mo store was a fair request, they should price match direct competitors like boost mobile, if I wasn't grandfathered into a slightly cheaper plan I would've switched to boost just for this deal. T-mo was about to lose a 10 yr+ loyal customer over a few $100 of a phone.

I was unable to get price match with best buy. The person just kept copy pasting their policy blabla "we only price match certain websites" and when I linked the screenshot of the person who did get the price match they said "I understand" and then copy pasted the policy spiel again.
