going for 3 times a charm and calling the Best Buy # to see if they will do it over the phone.

"We can't price match contracted cellular phones. Only unlocked version of the same. Since Boost Mobile is locked to their network and we don't carry Boost we can't price match it".
I asked about other carriers.
"Even if T-mobile or AT&T have a lower contacted deal we won't be able to match them. It's only for unlocked cellular phone"
So looks there is no way Best Buy will match.
Unless of course they might if you bought the phone came back the next day (without opening it or there is a $45 restocking fee) and they might match it? but I don't have that much time on my hand to go back and forth.
Tax on $999?
So $999+tax -$400 cash back into your bank or card?
