I used these to clean up a rusty trailer. the bristles broke often sending them flying. I have no experience with a different brand but wasn't real thrilled with these.

Purchased this set a while back and used with a 4 inch grinder. The wires flew off like little missiles and would embed in my arms and one went through my shirt into my abdomen. They did not go in far, but damn, they stink. Don't take a chance. HF is good for some things, but no these.

I think it's pretty sad that what was an every day price last year is now considered to be a good deal.

I didn't shop at HF much in the past, but now I never do.

I used one of those metal brush with the handle on an Olympic bar that had a bunch of rust and gunk from someone putting grip tape on it and the brush cleaned it up pretty fast.
