used to be they adjust the price, now I have to return the one I got last week and order this one. same effect, but so much more work :/
The key is light source. E-ink is reflective, as a book, your eyes can look at E-ink for hours without fatigue. LCDs light source is within using masks.
All I can tell you is that I can read far longer on my kindle than my $1000 iPad. Also the battery lasts for weeks
