I bought these in pink for my wife. Sound is decent, headset is very light. I don't care for the button to turn on & off the headset. You have to press and hold for almost 5 or 6 seconds. That's too long for me. It doesn't completely block sound out.Other than that, it's decent for home use.

I've got both the Q20 and Q30 and agree. When I need the better noise blocking I use the Q20. Otherwise I use the Q30 as the ear cups seem larger/more comfortable and I prefer the USB-C charging over the micro-USB charging of the Q20.

The control (volume, power etc) buttons are more tactile and easier for me to find and use on the Q20 but that's not a big deal for me.

The Q30 can also receive firmware updates via the Soundcore app. Q20 cannot.

I bought one before but found out the ANC on q30 was worse than what I experienced with Q20. But better build quality for sure. I ended up returning them and went for Sony wh1000xm3

I got a pair that developed the dreaded white noise during ANC out of one of the ears. Contacted support and they quickly sent out a replacement pair. These are a good value at the price.

I am not an expert on ANC. But one thing I know is that Q20 blocks out more ac noise than q30 ever can. I compared both headsets with ANC off and found out that even without ANC q20 blocks out more noise. I think it has something to do with the design of ear pad.

ok thanks, one thing i did not like about the q20 is that anc "pop" sound that happens when you do something that might shake the headphone, like walking hard, eating , etc\
was wondering if the q30 has the same issue

No the one I had didn't have that issue. The build quality of q30 is definitely much better than q20. But the rattling sound wasn't an issue for me since I use headphone for work and don't really move much.

Ar'nt there different ANC settings in the Q30 app? I think they are indoor, outsoor, transport. Did you try the different settings?

Sounds like maybe the Q20's may have better passive ANC, at least for your use scenario.

Yes I did and I even reached out to soundcore customer service. I reset the headphone following their instructions and got the same results. And I did that for both units I ordered from Amazon.
