Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
It's definitely not as good of a deal as it sounds unless you live in a state with no sales tax. This will be around $3,000 in most places after tax, which Green Toe can get you a C1 for that price (they don't charge tax).
Also, even though the CX is an excellent TV, you should probably just buy the C1 for the better image processing alone.

I would rather buy such a large sensitive item locally. I've seen too many horror stories on big tv's delivered damaged from this place. Even going with a shippers that does only large items is a crap shoot. I ordered a grill from an online place because they only sell online. The box looked like it had been hit with a sledge hammer a few times when they delivered it.
Plus if you can still get this from Costco you get a free 5 year warranty, more if you use their credit card.

I disagree. It depends on your sensitivity is to stuff motion processing. The CX already has good image processing so most people such as myself won't be able to tell the difference.
Rtings along with many other review sites claim very subtle differences between the two.

Comparing a grill from another place is pretty moot. Shipping is free and fully covered. If you get a bad one they will swap it out. It's not a huge deal. Most places use a courier for big TVs. The woes of past shipping are much better than a decade ago. Online orders are popular and it's not profitable to break $3000 items.
That's said I love the Sam's and Costco return policy. You WILL need a truck to move a 77. The box is hilarious huge. About 6.5 feet long and 4 foot tall. Angled it will barely fit in some truck beds.

Still can be a pain. 1 person posted in one of the previous LG 77" threads that he had both the original and replacement tv's delivered from GT (which is whoever is actually selling you the tv) broken. My grill was delivered by a courier, not Fedex or UPS. It looked like they had rammed the forklift into it. I've actually had furniture delivered by UPS that was in much better shape.
I realize that. Unfortunately a lot of people aren't going to be able to get it there due to no stock and they don't allow you to get it online from a different location.
