  • About this product:
    • 4.9 out of 5 stars rating at Best Buy
    • LG GX OLED Series TVs are rated 8.8 at Rtings.com for Mixed Usage:
      • "The LG GX OLED is an amazing all-around TV. It's an ideal choice for watching movies in a dark room because of its nearly infinite contrast ratio and perfect black uniformity. Gamers should enjoy the 120Hz refresh rate, VRR support, near-instant response time, and low input lag. It also has wide viewing angles if you want to watch the big game in a wide seating arrangement. Unfortunately, it has the risk of permanent burn-in, so it's not ideal to use as a PC monitor because of the static elements of most user interfaces."

For all of those like me who live nowhere near a Video Only, Best Buy has finally dropped its price another $100 on the very popular 77" CX model. Yes, there are deals on this year's model (the C1), but if you're looking to buy from Best Buy or looking for a CX, this is a solid price.

The price has dropped to $2949.99 for My Best Buy members (free to join).

The price has dropped to $2999.99 for non-members.

Check it out HERE [bestbuy.com].

NOTE: The GX model (flush to wall) dropped an additional $200 to $3299.99 AND STILL comes with a $350 gift card. That makes it pretty much the same price as the CX, which is arguably an even better deal. I doubt these will go any lower.

The price has dropped to $3299.99 for everyone, along with a $350 gift card.

Check out the GX HERE [bestbuy.com].

NOTE: Costco also lowered its price on the CX (they don't sell the GX), which can be found HERE [costco.com]. Some may prefer to order from them.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

it is a bit snake oil

theyve already discovered that lowering the brightness has just as good of an effect

also, just watch less tv. if you're staring at a screen long enough for it to be a detriment to your health, taking frequent breaks will probably do you good.
Not hate, common sense. Blue light tech is a gimmick and has medically shown little improvement in eye strain and slight improvement in headaches. All that for unaturaly colors and changes to the source material. You keep waiting there buddy
I don't care if you 'tried it' and think it's revolutionary, actual double blind studies have concluded the same thing: blue-light filters don't help with eye strain. The only thing they might help with is reducing the effect the screen has on your sleep cycle but if screens are keeping you up at night, a blue light filter is not the answer. The answer is less screen time as you get closer to your bed time. Read a book instead.

No one is 'damaging peoples health' by having discussions about this. I've just about had enough of this 'we have to silence people for their own good' bullshit.

Scratch that - I see the gift card is only for the GX.

I must be blind because I don't see any mention of a gift card on the Best Buy listing. Where is it on the page?

CX is $2950. GX is $350 more ($3300), but comes with a $350 GC, so same price if you value the GC as cash and ignore the additional tax.
