Just got mine yesterday and put it together in about 20 minutes. Would I trust putting my expensive gaming PC and monitor on it all the time? No, but as a spare desk that rolls around my workshop/room and as a spot to build PCs on? It works.

If you have a welder you could probably make this thing extremely solid, but as it is it's just tack-welded together. Worth the $30, but deff not full-price. I may swap out the particle board top for one solid piece of 1/2" plywood eventually (I have a few pieces already that are big enough, otherwise I'd be paying more than the price of the desk to improve it lol)

Glad I could help. I kinda blindly bought it without reading a ton of the reviews but then when I did I realized that for my purpose it will work fine, and I do have a welder so I can rebuild it if I need to.

As an aside: I'm using the little PC tower extension as a footrest under my actual desk bc I didn't need it on the table itself.

Can I trouble you for one more question?

I ordered one but haven't put it together yet. Is the desktop 28 inches or 23 inches long? The photo showing the dimensions has it at 23 but the title and description show 28.

The table is 24" across the two pieces by 23.75" across each individual piece.

Edit: I just measured and it's almost 28" TALL, so that may have been where that number came from.

Awesome, thank you. May be a bit too short for my use. I was hoping to get a monitor and laptop on the top shelf

If you used a small raiser you could do that with the laptop closed, but there's not enough room for both if the laptop is open, no. There are different pictures of the desk being used for each color, so check out each one for the best idea of useage.

The top review on Amazon says it took them 1 to 2 hours to put together, and it was not fun, Might need extra hands? like things did not fit together flush or easy.So many bad reviews about the quality, stability, cheap plastic wheels, Holes drilled off-center, Welding that separated… I should disregard them? I need to use up my discounts so I can get one around 20.Is the table top that crappy? Is the MDF fully incased? In what? Not affected by humidity? Somebody mentioned that they were going to tie some joints with zip ties to keep it together or more stable? Would that work?I do need few mobile tables quick. But I don't want to have to do too much to get them usable. No other decent regular desk/table for around this price points? Could I in a pinch put my old iMac on it? about 30 pounds. Some of the colors have far worse reviews. Thanks for any feedback anyone

It really wasn't that hard to put together. I even used the crappy tools they provided with it instead of my own. All my holes lined up and they provide 1 extra of each fastener in case you lose one or the threads are messed up. It's not fully welded at the seams, mostly tack welded. But unless you're moving it around a lot with pretty heavy stuff on it I don't see them breaking.

This is not a heavy duty desk. The casters are like 1" diameter and the locks fall and lock themselves randomly. Annoying but not a deal breaker. They also don't really roll that well, but the desk is light enough it doesn't matter. I would have already put bigger casters on it but they're threaded.

The MDF does seem to be fully enclosed in vinyl or something like that, but I haven't risked putting anything wet (like a sweating soda can) directly on it. I just don't trust MDF that much.

I didn't have room or a need to attatch the PC table to the side, so I'm actually using it under my main desk as a footrest lol.

Remember people don't tend to leave positive reviews, especially on cheap things. If they get it and it works, they're just happy it works. It's the same with PC parts. I try to make an effort to review things positively when they work as expected or better.
