1) Handle is wider than traditional kettlebell. Makes it less easy for something like a goblet squat.
2) Base is made of a tough plastic, and wide, so you cannot do exercises where you need to hold the body (or laying down on its side).
3) Taller than tradtional kettlebell, so not as effective for a sumo squat.
