What if they don't need wheels? The majority of people buying this stand aren't contractors going from jobsite to jobsite. They just going to use it occasionally around their own house.

The purpose of the wheels isn't just for a job site. With a collapsible stand you can fold the miter and move it up against the wall so it doesn't occupy half of your garage and piss off your wife. Ask me how i know.

If you move it regularly I agree. But if use it a few times per year and planning to store it in smaller places then No wheel.

I don't think this has ever really existed... it's one of those fabled deals that we're spoken of eons before human kind came down from the trees.

If you want to haul around 100+lb or detach the saw every time you move it, be my guest. It's your back breaking over $20, not mine 😊

I have a higher end miter saw stand, it has wheels. I wouldn't trade it for these Ryobi stands.

However, because they are so reasonably priced, I have numerous of these Ryobi stands, they make great heavy duty sawhorses and/or stands to run planks between with plywood, and then used to stand on while working on ten foot tall ceilings. And if I have a renovation or building project that includes repainting cabinet doors, or other similar sized pieces, extending the arms and then using a pair to layout the pieces for spray painting is an efficient use of space.

This is the second or third time it's been posted on Slickdeals. I bought one about a month ago and my local store for $49 as a special buy, and rushed home to post it here only to find out it was already here...

Cheap quality and that's from someone that loves ryobi. The screws on the lumber support arm stripped which made it non functional. Went with the rigid one with wheels. You can easily tell the difference in quality

Definitely +1 for having wheels and it being foldable, even if it's just to move it out of the way a few times per year. Better to have and not need than to need and not have, trust me.

Estimating a typical miter saw and this stand at over 100 lbs together is a lot like women overestimating the size of a shlong.

just happened to see the sign at home depot near me and they had one in stock.

Disappointed by the weight/saw capacity. Says not for 12" sliding saw. Price was too good to pass up so guess i'll forego the sliding saw.
