Since my previous post got deleted I'm reposting without mentioning the name of what I'm guessing caused the issue previously...

These things are awful hence the price they are willing to unload them for. I thought they might taste ok when I purchased a few packs a few months ago due to an app cashback offer making the price tempting. I was wrong. I was really really wrong.

Adding to ^ that original reply...

If the person who replied to me is reading this I like Soft Batch especially after sticking them in the microwave for a few seconds. As for Chewy Chips Ahoy I thought they were ok the last time I had them a few years ago. I did think they tasted different from the regular Chips Ahoy aside from texture and wondered if it was due to whatever is used to make them chewy.

One of the problems with the Pillsbury cookies is the icing and other toppings used to flavor them taste incredibly artificial. It reminded me of overly sweet artificial candy some of us liked as kids then realized how fake it really tasted after trying it again when older. I gave the two packs of cookies I had left that were unopened to an older friend of mine who has grandkids who will eat anything.

"Soft Baked" cookies are an affront to God.

And I'm pretty sure Hitler was a huge fan of them.

I would not get these again. Stick with Chips-a-hoy.
